Recently I came across a quote by Haniel Long:

“So much of what is best in us is bound up in our love of family, that it remains the measure of our stability because it measures our sense of loyalty. All other pacts of love or fear derive from it and are modeled upon it.”

Words like stability, family, loyalty, love, these words on their own hold so much meaning to each one of us. We all, in times of happiness and sorrow, gather much strength from them.
Friends who have been close to us, know our inner secrets, our strengths, weaknesses, our bad days and good days. It gives me a warm and cozy feeling that these friends have become my family. It is great when we all come together to share, heal, laugh and cry and to realize we are all the best of friends and have become a family.
